Which foods should you avoid

Sirtuins are mainly found in green vegetables, some fruits and foods with a high content of bitter substances. You should also enjoy red wine in moderation rather than in bulk - a maximum of two glasses per week is recommended. Potatoes and legumes such as peas are completely free of sirtuins - you can still eat them, but only in small portions as side dishes. This category includes all foods that are rich in carbohydrates - including rice, pasta or toast. At best, completely eliminate them from your diet during the first two phases of the sirtuin diet. As with any diet, you should avoid all foods high in sugar and alcohol, with the exception of red wine.
