There are so many people to thank that have helped me with this book. I wouldn’t have been able to complete it without any one of them. And a very special thank you to a co-worker and friend of mine, DHerbst. We would sit in his office talking about my book and his books. He was always encouraging - he would challenge me with descriptions and most importantly, he thought there was something of substance in my story and made me feel it was worth pursuing. Sadly, he passed away in November 2012 - before I published. I’m sure he’s writing still… or at the very least playing ball with the neighborhood kids.
