INTRODUCTION

UNLIKE MY CO-AUTHORS, I am by no means a hardcore ghost hunter; I hunt on a much more casual level. I do not carry around and set up every piece of ghost hunting equipment under the sun, nor do I spend hours to days reviewing the evidence I have gathered. But with that said, I greatly enjoy experiencing the thrill of the “hunt.” From a young age, I always experienced excitement in visiting places with stories of being haunted. I start by digging into and understanding the history of a place and then review the reported paranormal activity. Finally, I physically go to the location to investigate. When I visit a location, I do not go out of my way to try to prove a thing many will never accept and the rest may never fully understand; but rather my goal is to disprove the paranormal activity. I feel that if paranormal activity cannot be disproved, then you have something truly interesting.

This book will provide you with 100 locations around the Twin Cities where there have been claims of paranormal activity. We want this book to be for those in the Twin Cities, so we have ensured that all 100 locations are within about an hour’s drive of downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul. Many of these locations have rich histories few know about but that help can help you understand the paranormal activity. This book will give you the historical information that may be tied to paranormal activity. Unlike other ghost books, this book has done some legwork for those looking for more than just information about locations with paranormal activity. Each location has driving directions, hours it’s open to the public to visit, and the times we feel would be best to experience paranormal activity. The rest we leave up to you, so you can draw your own conclusions as to whether a location has paranormal activity.
