At the Café and Restaurant
ОглавлениеIt was Saturday afternoon, and Alice decided to meet her friend, Emma, for lunch. They went to a small café near the park, which Alice loved because of its cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee.
As soon as they entered, the waiter greeted them with a smile.
«Good afternoon! Table for two?»
«Yes, please,» Alice replied. «Near the window, if possible.»
They sat down and looked at the menu. Alice decided to order a salad, while Emma wanted something hot.
«I’ll have the grilled chicken with rice, please,» Emma said.
«And I’ll take the Caesar salad,» Alice added. «Can I also get a cappuccino with that?»
The waiter nodded and wrote down their order.
«Anything for dessert?» he asked.
«Do you have any cakes today?» Alice inquired.
«Yes, we have chocolate cake and carrot cake,» the waiter answered.
«I’ll try the chocolate cake,» Alice said with a smile.
A few minutes later, the waiter brought their drinks. «Here’s your cappuccino and your tea, madam,» he said, placing the drinks on the table.
When the food arrived, they both started to eat. The grilled chicken looked delicious, and the salad was fresh and tasty.
After lunch, Alice paid the bill and left a tip for the waiter. «Thank you for the great service,» she said as they walked out.
