Sarah felt unwell for the past few days, so she decided to visit the doctor. She made an appointment and arrived at the hospital early in the morning. When she entered the reception area, a nurse greeted her.

«Good morning! How can I help you?»

«I have an appointment with Dr. Harris at 9 a.m.,» Sarah replied.

«Let me check… Yes, you’re right on time. Please have a seat in the waiting room. Dr. Harris will call you soon,» the nurse said.

Sarah sat down and waited for her turn. A few minutes later, a nurse called her name. «Sarah Parker?»

«Yes, that’s me,» she replied, standing up.

The nurse took her to the examination room. Dr. Harris entered shortly after and shook Sarah’s hand.

«Good morning, Sarah. What seems to be the problem today?»

«I’ve been feeling very tired and have a headache,» Sarah explained. «I also have a slight fever.»

«Let’s take your temperature and blood pressure,» Dr. Harris said. «Please sit here on the examination table.»

After checking Sarah’s temperature and blood pressure, Dr. Harris said, «It looks like you have a cold. I’ll prescribe some medicine for you. Take these tablets three times a day with food. And get plenty of rest.»

«Thank you, Doctor,» Sarah said.

«You’re welcome. If you don’t feel better in a few days, come back to see me,» the doctor added.

After the appointment, Sarah went to the pharmacy to pick up her medicine. She felt relieved to know what was wrong and was grateful for the doctor’s help.
