Taking the Bus
ОглавлениеИстория
It’s a busy Monday morning, and Sarah is on her way to work. She checks the time on her phone: it's 8:15 a.m. "I’d better hurry," she thinks. The bus is scheduled to arrive at 8:20, and she needs to catch it to avoid being late.
Sarah walks quickly to the bus stop, keeping an eye on the street to see if the bus is coming. As she approaches the stop, she sees the bus in the distance. "Perfect timing!" she says to herself. She gets to the bus stop just as the bus pulls up.
The bus driver greets her with a smile and says, "Good morning!" Sarah gives a friendly nod and steps onto the bus. She finds a seat by the window and looks around. There are a few empty seats, but most of them are taken by other commuters.
As the bus starts moving, Sarah takes out her phone to check her emails. "Looks like I have a busy day ahead," she says quietly. The bus makes its first stop, and a few more people get on. Sarah notices that the bus is getting more crowded.
After a few stops, the bus reaches Sarah's destination. She gathers her things and stands up. "Excuse me," she says to the person sitting in front of her, trying to get through the narrow aisle. The person moves aside, and Sarah steps off the bus.
"Have a great day!" the bus driver calls out as Sarah exits. "Thanks, you too!" she replies. Sarah takes a deep breath of fresh air and walks toward her office building. She’s glad she made it on time.
