История

Anna needs to call her friend Mark to confirm their plans for the weekend. She picks up her phone and dials his number. After a few rings, Mark answers the phone.

"Hello?" Mark says.

"Hey Mark, it’s Anna. How are you?" she asks.

"I’m good, thanks! How about you?" Mark replies.

"I’m doing well. I just wanted to confirm our plans for Saturday. Are we still meeting for lunch?" Anna asks.

"Yes, absolutely! What time works for you?" Mark says.

"How about 12:30?" Anna suggests.

"12:30 sounds perfect," Mark agrees.

"Great! I’ll see you then," Anna says, feeling relieved that everything is set.

"Looking forward to it! See you soon!" Mark replies before hanging up.

After the call, Anna feels better knowing that her weekend plans are confirmed. She puts her phone down and gets back to work, smiling because she’s looking forward to their lunch.

"Hi, I’m Sophie Johnson. I’m here for the 10:30 a.m. flight to New York," Sophie replies.

"Great! May I see your passport and ticket?" the agent asks.

Sophie hands over her passport and ticket. The agent checks her details and prints her boarding pass. "Here you go," she says. "You’ll be flying on Flight 123, Gate B12."

"Thank you," Sophie says as she takes her boarding pass and heads to the security checkpoint.

At the security checkpoint, Sophie shows her boarding pass and passport to the security officer. "Please place your bag on the conveyor belt," the officer instructs. Sophie puts her carry-on bag and jacket in the bin and watches them go through the X-ray machine.

"Do you have any liquids in your bag?" the officer asks.

"Just a bottle of water," Sophie replies, handing it over for inspection.

After passing through security, Sophie walks to her gate. The gate agent checks her boarding pass and lets her through. "Enjoy your flight!" the agent says.

Sophie finds a seat near the gate and waits for her flight to board. At 10:00 a.m., the announcement is made: "Now boarding Flight 123 to New York. Please have your boarding passes ready."

Sophie gets in line with the other passengers and hands her boarding pass to the agent at the gate. "Have a pleasant flight," the agent says as she scans Sophie’s boarding pass and lets her through.

Sophie walks down the jet bridge and onto the plane. She finds her seat and settles in, ready for the flight. As the plane takes off, Sophie relaxes and looks forward to her trip.
