Where and How to Begin

Yes, the book is about the 5-Minute Drill, and the basics are easy to find. But the authors have more gems to share. Keep your eyes open. For those ready to find more, look past the basics and you’ll find more in the stories we share, in the resources, and in the case studies and practical applications.

If you are already on LinkedIn, well versed in the various areas of the platform, and you don’t need to be convinced about the value of being here, skip around. But you don’t have to. We made it a quick read on purpose!

A quick skim of these first two introductions will provide insight into why the authors got actively involved in networking on LinkedIn and how they have benefitted from doing so. It is stories, after all, that give us the greatest perspective into any environment.

Even if LinkedIn is not new to you, you likely picked up this book because you are hoping to use it in a new way. So, what’s the harm in investing in a couple of quick short stories to gain—or regain—perspective?

If you have not started or created an account, then stop and read this before you do anything else. It will help you decide the best way to proceed to meet your own goals and objectives. If you’re still not sure what to do, give Joe Frankie a call. His number is on his profile! Of course, Lori will be around to help you, too.
