I thank God for the gift of Steven Ruff who always knew I had to fly and was always proud to be my anchor.

I thank my former partner, Mike O’Neil, The LinkedIn Rockstar. We were so driven and so pushed each other beyond our limits. We took risks and tried new things going right to the edge of the cliff so we’d know how to help you navigate safely around it.

I thank Olivier Taupin, founder of some of the largest groups on LinkedIn; Charlie Garcia, the living embodiment of what a global leader can achieve with the full benefit of LinkedIn; Ken McArthur for the Impact he is having on so many people I care about across the nation and the globe; Joel Comm for his authentic heart and humble spirit, his willingness to recognize the magic in the common man standing right next to him, and to celebrate it… (You Inspire Me!); and, Jorge Hermida for four amazing years of growth and opportunity through production of RockTheWorld™ with LinkedIn radio. There are so many giants, those I know and those who helped me but never said so…their names would fill a book—and I’m so grateful to each one.

And, Joe and I are both indebted beyond words to the incredible, Robert “Bob” Bowden III, for his never failing ability to answer our calls or emails requesting help for research, phrasing, marketing, even some pinch writing, scheduling posts, running analytics, and generally cheering us up whether we need a smile or just a great stupid joke. Without Bob and without the masterful talent and caring dedication of Andrew Cameron, not only our designer but also our friend, we’d still be writing and out shopping for cover art!
