THE MEADOW LARKS
Up, up in the sky
The meadow larks fly
Up in the air so high.
Down, down on the ground
Is a meadow lark found,
Down in a nest so round.
As they go to sleep
The birdies say, “Peep!”
Down in the grass so deep.
