on the desolate.” These things will soon be fulfilled in the city of Jerusalem. Based on the information given in Daniel chapter 9, there will be the signing of a seven year Middle East Peace agreement that will be broken half-way through its ratification. With this in mind, the construction of the temple in the book of Ezekiel could not be that of the third temple, but the fourth and final temple which is man himself. The interpretation of these final chapters of this book of hidden truths will be examined in three ways: spiritual, symbolic and natural. In defiance Judah broke the teachings of the LORD, and a seventy year sentence was decreed, yet the lovingkindness of Abba Father constrained Him and He multiplied His grace with even greater intensity as the house of Israel was being chastised for their rebellion. The prophet now prepares to document all that his chaperone was about to show him because he was instructed to rehearse it to his brethren in captivity.

The mountain range that lies in the south of Israel is called the Judean Mountains and this was the area being viewed by the prophet Ezekiel. On top of this mountain was the ancient ruin of the temple built by King Solomon in Jerusalem and twice destroyed; first by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and in 70 A.D. by the Romans. Jerusalem, Israel‘s capital, is centrally located on top of the Judean Mountains projecting from its southern ridge about twenty-four hundred feet or approximately seven hundred and thirty meters above sea level. This region of the mountain is called Hebron, Kiriath or Kirjath-Arba that was given to the descendants of Benjamin (Joshua 14:15; 18:28). Judges 1:1-2 once more makes it quite clear that Jerusalem belongs to Israel: “After Joshua died, the Israelites asked the LORD, “Who should lead the invasion against the Canaanites and launch the attack? The LORD said, “The men of Judah should take the lead. Be sure of this! I am handing the land over to them” (NET). Three things have been brought to light:

Jerusalem was initially given to Benjamin the twelfth son of Israel who incidentally was the only child born in the land of Palestine

It was the LORD God who allotted this land to His people

Yeshua is a descendant of David from the tribe of Judah, the tribe authorized by Abba Father to take the lead
