being reconstructed in Yeshua (2 Corinthians 5:17). Zachariah a prophet of God said: “…Behold, the man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the LORD; yes He shall build the temple of the LORD. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both” 6:12-13. This fourth temple is spiritually significant because everything about it surpasses that of Moses, Solomon and the third temple to be built in Jerusalem. Here are some differences between the natural and spiritual temple:
There will be no animal hide coverings.
There will be no laver, table of shewbread, lampstand, altar of incense or Ark of the Covenant.
There will be no partition or veil.
“Sacrificial” ramp is to the east instead of the south.
Access to the altar is by stairs only.
Rooms or dwelling places are added to the sides of the fourth temple.
New allotment of land to the twelve tribes of Israel will surround the temple
Women now have complete access beyond the Outer Court.
Yeshua has the authority to bring great changes to this fourth temple because He is GOD’S sacrificial Lamb that was slain for our sins. It is He that the Overcomers must go through to be presented to the Father. Revelation 3:12 states: “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name.” Notice, Overcomers will be made pillars in the temple of God; this fact will become clearer as the fourth temple is being built in these closing chapters. There are three simple yet important facts in Ezekiel 40:3 that must be explained because they hold spiritual truths that will affect the symbolic interpretation of these chapters:
A line of flax is in His hand
A measuring reed is in His hand
He stood in the gate
