wages war to dominate the soul of man. Yeshua made this point clear: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly“(John 10:10 NKJV).
Our soul is the seat of our emotions and for this reason whatever is happening within us is unconsciously displayed by our body language, facial expression, and by the tone of our voice in a variety of ways such as; joy, sorrow and anger. What comes out of our mouth is one of the manifestation or pouring out of the soul so to speak. The measuring of the forefront of the gate is the measurement of the soul: the seat of our emotions, intellect and will, which is the driving force of our personality and nature. The Hebrew word Panim or Paneh [6440] is means “forefront.” This very important word refers to the face where the expressions of our emotions are visibly communicated. These responses are the manifestations of the soul, which adverbially and symbolically refers to the seat of our emotions that is in desperate need of regeneration and for this reason, the soul is measured first.
The conversion of the soul is therefore the focus of Yeshua Jesus because it is the prime target of the once anointed Cherub who rebelled. Satan, the name he is commonly known by, and the angels who participated in this foolish insurrection has no soul, and because of this very reason they cannot be redeemed by Yeshua. Demonic entities can attach themselves to any compartment of the soul where there is sin, because these are the areas where we are the weakest and most vulnerable. Demonic activities are evident in a multiplicity of ways, from the influence of one’s behavior, to the possession of man; to the more complex organization of ruling powers over cities, provinces or nations. Repentance along with fasting and prayer are useful tools to ensure deliverance, freedom and peace( Ephesians 6:10-18; Mark 5:1-15; 9:17-29; Luke 8:1-2, 26-35; 9:38-42; Matthew 12:43-45; and Luke 11:24-26). The diabolic war which began in the Garden of Eden was for the soul of man and Yeshua has given us the tools and authority to overcome (Luke 10:19). Just as fruits on a tree are not ripened all at once; each chamber or compartment of the soul is at varying levels of spiritual growth and maturity as the reconstruction and measurement of man in Yeshua Jesus continues to unfold.
