of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He maybe glorified” (NKJV, see also Luke 4:18-21). There is a time coming when the oppression and deception of our arch enemy, the prince of darkness will be exposed, broken and shattered forever. Every struggle with sin and every battle in the flesh will be conquered and finally placed under our feet. One day we will all walk in the empowerment of Yeshua Jesus our King and High Priest who enables us to be victorious as we place our trust in Him wholeheartedly and at that time all our measurements will be alike because we will overcome as He overcame.

Verses 24-27

“After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures. And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof. And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.”

Ezekiel follows the Lord from the outer court and makes his way towards the inner court, which is the second level of man in Yeshua. This is a picture of man progressing and being perfected spiritually as he puts off the old man for the new because the light of Yeshua radiates in every chamber of his soul. Man is not measured against his own merit or achievements, but based on his position in Yeshua Messiah who has the power to save or destroy both the soul and body in hell (Matthew 10:28). The posts have already been identified as the support beams for the framework of the temple of man because the foundational blocks of his entrance is made available by Yeshua. The living palm trees and posts being one, points to the unification of the Overcomer and unveils his triumphant victory over sin.
