Independence: Or the illusion of independence. If you get all clingy with a Gemini, they will jump through windows, break through walls, and basically do anything necessary to escape. Smothering a Gemini will turn them off faster than any other transgression.

At least one impulsive bone in your body: Geminis change their minds so quickly that one minute you’ll be heading to dinner and the next minute they’ll want to go to a movie, and then they’ll remember that a friend of theirs is playing a heavy-metal gig across town. You’ll need to grit your teeth and just go along with the ride in order to feel like you’re not depriving your Gemini date of a fun time.
