In order to avoid complicated line paths and thus a confusing cycle diagram, it is often necessary to move the connections to a different position. In EBSILON there is the possibility to rotate or mirror components. To do so, open the properties menu of a component by double-clicking it with the left mouse button and switch to the tab “View”. Here a graphical representation of the component appears in the right half. In the left half of the screen, there are various buttons in the “Orientation“ submenu to rotate or mirror the component. When the buttons are clicked, the graphical representation of the component changes simultaneously. This makes it easy to see in which position the component is currently located and which changes still need to be made.

You can also change the view of a component without switching to the properties menu. To do this, click with the right mouse button on the desired component. In the menu that appears, you can change the component directly on the workspace using various buttons (e.g. “Rotate 180°”, “Mirror Horizontal”, etc.).
