3.3 Simulation
ОглавлениеAs soon as the desired cycle diagram has been generated on the work surface and the required values have been entered in the components, the process can be simulated by EBSILON. The simulation can be started by selecting the category “Calculation“ in the menu bar and pressing the button “Simulation”. Alternatively the symbol for simulation can be clicked in the EBSILON bar.
If the simulation is finished, a message is displayed if the simulation was successful or not.
If the simulation is successful, a message about the number of iteration steps executed and the time required for it appears.
If the simulation was not completed successfully, a menu will appear, which gives information about the type of error and the affected component. Affected components or lines are highlighted in color. The errors can be switched through one after the other and thus effectively eliminated. The error analysis can also be called up separately by selecting “Calculation“ from the menu bar and then clicking on the Error Analysis field. In addition to the errors that occur, warnings and comments can also be read here. Warnings and comments can also occur after a successfully completed simulation. However, the window opens automatically only if the simulation is completed with errors. Warnings are caused by overdetermination of state variables in the system or by a faulty component.
For detailed information look at chapter 11 - Error handling.
