ОглавлениеThe activities in this book are designed for kids
eight and older. The Exploratorium and the
publisher have made every effort to ensure that
the information and instructions included here are
accurate, reliable, and mind-blowingly cool, but
keep your own child’s skills and attention span
in mind before allowing him or her to try them,
and provide supervision as needed. We disclaim
all liability for any unintended, unforeseen, or
improper application of the suggestions in this
book, as well as any stained T-shirts or messy
exploding marshmallows. But we’re happy to help
contribute to your kid’s ever-increasing curiosity,
of course!
A Word for Parents
Everyday things—most of which are probably lying around your home right now—will help you do the
activities in this book. A few projects require some basic electronics; for those, you can make a
quick trip to a hobbyist shop or visit an online retailer. Assemble the tools for each activity so they’ll
be right there when you need them.
