O’Sullivan and Mahan Study
ОглавлениеThe foundation for GDM diagnosis was laid down by O’Sullivan and Mahan in the early 1960s [2]. The definition of an abnormal 100 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was selected to identify women at risk for subsequent T2DM. Thresholds for diagnosis were based on 2 SDs above the mean blood glucose levels among 752 parturients.
