1. Draw bird outlines.

1. Draw a cloud shape.

2. Add wings and eyes.

3. Add legs.

4. Add feathers.

5. Add color.

2. Add a second stroke.

3. Add patterning inside the

spaces (see page 16).

4. Thicken the outer lines.

To practice, draw different types of birds, like the ones shown above right. Notice the different wing,

beak, eye, and feather shapes. Mix and match features to create your own unique feathered friends!
