How to Draw a Dangle Design

Three Circles, Three Dots, and a Heart Pattern

Draw a wide arch and add a

leaf on the right.

Add a spiral tendril to the

left of the leaf.

Add a smaller tendril above

the larger one and add line

weight to the leaf.

Add weight to the tendrils, add

dots inside the leaf, and add an

extra line at the top and bottom.

Begin.

Draw a horizontal line (“rod”), then draw

vertical lines (“strings”) of different lengths.

Add.

Add designs (“dangles”) in your favorite

shapes at the bottom of the strings.

3.

Connect.

Connect some of the strings by adding

connecting lines (“cuffs”). Dots and swirls can add

extra interest to the design.

4.

Decorate.

Add accent toppers to help solidify the

design, then decorate the cuffs if desired.

5.

Thicken.

Add weight to the dangles and do any

final touch-ups.
