Grammar Focus

Past Simple используется для описания действий, которые уже произошли.

Правильные глаголы образуют форму прошедшего времени с добавлением -ed.

I watched a movie yesterday. – Я смотрел фильм вчера.

She visited her grandmother last weekend. – Она навещала бабушку в прошлые выходные.

Отрицания:

I / You / He / She / It / We / They didn’t + infinitive

I didn’t watch TV yesterday. – Я не смотрел телевизор вчера.

Вопросы:

Did + подлежащее + инфинитив?

Did you play football yesterday? – Ты играл в футбол вчера?

Типичные ошибки:

Не добавлять -ed к неправильным глаголам (нужна отдельная таблица неправильных глаголов для другой главы).

После did всегда используется инфинитив без -ed.

Wrong: Did you watched TV?

Correct: Did you watch TV?

Советы:

Для правильных глаголов просто добавляйте -ed для всех лиц.

Составьте список своих 10—15 часто используемых глаголов и регулярно тренируйтесь.

Story

A Day at School

Yesterday, Peter had a busy day at school. He started the day with math lessons. He watched the teacher carefully and wrote all the notes in his notebook.

During the break, he played football with his friends. They talked about their weekend plans and laughed a lot.

After the break, Peter visited the library. He borrowed a new book and read quietly in the corner.

In the afternoon, he helped his classmate with homework. They studied together and finished the exercises successfully.

Peter enjoyed his day and went home happily. He talked to his mother about everything he had done at school.
