There appears to be a schism between 3E and 4E gamers: One piece of evidence is Paizo's „Pathfinder“. And then there's an old school revival, with people recreating AD&D first (edition). How did this happen?
ОглавлениеIt seems to me that it was a case of WotC making radical changes to the game and assuming that the audience would follow them, even when most were still very happy with the core of the game as it was. This led to many sticking with 3E (or going to something that is only slightly different, like „Pathfinder“), rejecting both and going to something like first edition, or leaving D&D altogether.
