SEWING ON SEQUINS
ОглавлениеSequins can be sewn on with backstitch in the same way as beads but holding the sequin in place with a seed bead gives a decorative effect that hides the sewing yarn and the hole in the sequin.
Place the sequin. Bring the needle up through the hole in the center of the sequin, then slide a bead on to the needle and down the thread. Take the needle around the bead and back down the hole. Tension the thread to bring the bead close to the sequin and secure the thread on the wrong side with a few backstitches before moving on to the next sequin.
