CAREER AND MONEY FOR TRAGIC TAURUS
ОглавлениеAccording to Tragic Taurus, money is what you trade for things you want. And Taurus wants things, all right. A whole lotta things. As a consequence, Taurus needs to find a job that will pay him or her a whole lotta money.
Taurus actually has some pretty impressive skills to bring into the workforce. The Bull is completely reliable—a rock. Their patience and step-by-step approach to every task allow them to complete complex projects in an organized and efficient manner. They approach personal projects the same way, and usually have a checklist prepared for each mundane task. Shake twice, pull up pants, fasten belt, flush, wash, dry. Check.
Tauruses usually don’t have pressing, intense professional goals that they must fulfill in order to find happiness in life. They just want to earn a living that keeps them in comfort and style. However, they do have a few rules… Bulls do not like to feel alienated from their labor (note: labor philosopher Karl Marx was, not surprisingly, a Taurus). Taureans want to see the end result and feel the glow of pride from a task successfully accomplished. They will, however, trade a sense of ownership over their projects in exchange for good pay and stability. Stability is of huge importance to a Taurus and without it they will get anxious and argumentative.
Depending on whether you report to or manage a Taurus in the workplace, you might see a very different side of the Bull. The Tauri people tend to manage up, meaning they charm their bosses and let the shit run downhill to their employees. They don’t mean to be unfair, but it seems like the most practical approach to the workplace. For any colleague, getting into an argument with a Taurus can end poorly, with everyone losing face, productivity grinding to a halt, feelings being hurt, and the whole nine yards. This should be avoided at all costs.
