Probiotic Rose
Milk Cleanser
You probably know the benefits of good bacteria for the gut—but they can help your
skin too, by fighting harmful free radicals and reducing inflammation. Just use the same
probiotics you would normally ingest! This recipe is perfect for skin that’s prone to
breakouts, but it’s soothing and gentle enough for sensitive skin as well.

Make your own rosewater using the recipe on page 53.
For the coconut milk, be sure to scoop out the cream of the
coconut milk, and not the watery liquid.
2
/
Pour the coconut milk into a glass jar and add the
rosewater.
3
/
Add in the live probiotics and raw honey—itself loaded
with probiotics! Stir thoroughly.
4
/
Apply 1 to 2 teaspoons to your face and neck, massaging
it in with slow, gentle circles for at least a minute before
rinsing with warm water.

/
Cover and store in the refrigerator to keep the bacteria
active. To soften, warm the jar in the palms of your hands
before use. For best results, use 2 to 3 times a week.
