16. BASIL MANGO SMOOTHIE RECIPE.

This green smoothie recipe has the ability to give you the energy you need throughout the day especially if you are exercising to lose weight. This recipe also gives that healthy glow even if you are on a diet. This can help weight loss too by combating stress which could lead to overeating. This is due to the ingredient cashews which contain magnesium.

Ingredients:

1 ½c almond milk or any non-fat milk

2c frozen mangoes

3 basil sprigs without stems

Slices of lime

2c water

¼c cashews

5 ice cubes

-Prepare your blender and put in all of the ingredients except for the lime slices.

-Blend all these ingredients in the blender and wait until they turn smooth and creamy.

-Adjust consistency if you wish by adding ice cubes or adding water.

-Then, pour the smoothie onto a glass.

-Squeeze out the lime slices on the smoothie to garnish.

-Serve and enjoy.
