Crank length

Оглавление

The great majority of cyclists use crank lengths of 170-175 millimetres (6.7-6.9 inches). Longer crank arms allow you to push larger gears at a lower cadence, while shorter arms promote high cadences with smaller gears. Sprinters, who need explosive power, are used to shorter cranks, while riders with good climbing abilities favour longer cranks.
