Sometimes, it is good to be on your own connecting daisies whilst thinking of other things. At moments like this we can relax and be ourselves; it is good to enjoy your own company, to be that unique daisy.

However, at other times, we need to have other people to help and support us, and to connect to like a daisy chain. You can also build longer chains by adding new people on to them. Making a new friend or working with a different person in school can extend the number of people that you are connected to.

Why Not Try This?

Make your own five-daisy chain by using five green cable ties for stems.

Draw a daisy flower, write your name on it and then stick it into position on the central cable tie.

Write your friends’ names on the other four flowers around yours.

Each time you make a new friend, add another cable-tie daisy to your line.
