The blazing fireball rises above the horizon

with the message for the day.

Yesterday’s problems have not been solved

and the road to peace is buried under rubble.

People will open their eyes

and will look with concern at the road

with the craters and the starving children

that have passed the day before.

The day must bring the change

with more food and justice,

if mankind will exist in the days to come.

Sympathy and active care are needed.

It is when the lesson has not been learnt

that people must build up integrity and community.

The brink of abyss has been reached

where the volcano smokes of rage.

The fireball takes the way again

and you will stare at it like yesterday.

But if you miss to think as you have missed in the days before

you will lose the rest of promise and hope.
