Lost in the Mall
(Потеряться в торговом центре)

Оглавление

Story

It was a Saturday afternoon, and Anna and her best friend Sarah were at the mall. They had been planning to go shopping for weeks, and today was the perfect day. The mall was crowded, with people walking everywhere, and music playing from the stores.

«I can’t wait to buy those new shoes!» Anna said, looking excited. «I saw them online, and they’re even better in person!»

«I’m going to look for a new jacket,» Sarah replied, smiling. «Let’s meet at the food court in an hour.»

They agreed to meet in an hour, and then they both headed in different directions. Anna walked toward the shoe store, and Sarah went to check out the clothing section.

At first, everything was fine. Anna found the shoes she wanted and picked out her size. But when she turned around to find Sarah, she realized something – she couldn’t see her anywhere.

«Sarah?» Anna called out. She looked around, but there were so many people. «Where is she?»

Anna started to walk through the mall, but the crowds made it hard to see clearly. She checked every store she passed, but there was no sign of Sarah.

Her heart started to race. What should she do? She had never been lost before.

Finally, she decided to go to the food court. Maybe Sarah was already waiting there. When she arrived, she looked around, but Sarah wasn’t there either.

Feeling a little scared, Anna went to the information desk. «Excuse me,» she said nervously. «I’m lost. I can’t find my friend. She was supposed to meet me here.»

The woman at the desk smiled kindly. «Don’t worry, dear. We can help you. We’ll make an announcement for your friend to meet you here.»

Anna felt a little better knowing someone was helping her. A few minutes later, Sarah appeared, looking a little worried but relieved. «I couldn’t find you either!» she said, hugging Anna. «I’m so glad you’re okay!»

«I’m just happy we’re back together,» Anna said, laughing. «Next time, we’ll stick together!»

The two friends spent the rest of the afternoon shopping and having fun. Even though it was a little scary at first, Anna knew that she had learned an important lesson: always stay close to your friends in crowded places.
