will be restored as they were before Adam sinned and condemned mankind to death. This process began when man voluntarily gave up his right of self rule and made Yeshua his Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9).
In the book of Ezekiel the LORD at times spoke to the prophet using euphemism, idioms, metaphors, and prophetic roll play. Always bear in mind that the LORD’S intention was never to confuse us, but to draw us closer to Himself because we will understand their meaning as we grow spiritually. God dearly loves us, and wants to share His plans with us; therefore, we must come into a pure relationship with Him so that He delights in sharing His truths that are veiled to the world. Next the feet of the Cherubim is said to sparkle like the color of burnt copper. Anything that is destroyed by fire undergoes a type of transformation; the process necessary for the new man in Yeshua Jesus. Incidentally the Hebrew word for “color” is translated “eye” and since the design of the Cherubim is a visual story of the new man in Yeshua, the “eye” is symbolically speaking of man’s new found understanding of his purpose, identity and destiny, which is Yeshua Messiah in him the hope of glory (Ephesians 1:18; Colossians 1:27).
The feet of these living creatures were brass or copper, which speaks of judgment or justice against sin, and because they were described as being burnt, the spiritual man in Yeshua Jesus is judged and his sins completely forgiven. 1 Peter 4:5-6 states: Who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead? For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. Man as a restored being is hereby depicted by the many facets and attributes of these living creatures and there is still more to come.
As silver symbolically refers to Yeshua Jesus our Redeemer, burned copper speaks of His judgment and our reconciliation and fellowship with Him through grace. 1 Corinthians 3:11-17 explains this quite clearly: For other foundation can no
