restore man, old things will pass away, and the new will come. The hands speak of our works, which must be in Yeshua Jesus as they will follow us into the next life of God’s glorious kingdom (Revelation 14:13). The Hebrew word for “hands” is Yad [3027]; although Yad speaks of work(s), it can also symbolize power or strength, possession or submission. When Yad is used as an idiom, it refers to the act of placing something into someone’s hand, otherwise, to delegate authority, responsibility, care or dominion. The new man in Yeshua is here being prepared to rule with Yeshua. Ezekiel 1:8 holds the key to something special to be revealed in verse 9. Man must first willingly accept his own cross and follow Yeshua; he suffers like He suffered and he will rule like He rules, over principalities, thrones and dominions. The Hebrew word used here for “man” is Adam [120], it differs from [119], Adham, which means “ruddy” or “reddish brown.” Four of the creatures’ faces are that of man [Adam], which is a representation of all of humanity. Man was once given control over all that the LORD God created. Through deception by the great serpent the devil, man sinned, thereby forfeiting his authority to have dominion over the earth. In Yeshua, the Believer’s authority was restored because of the Messiah’s finished work on the Cross. Yeshua Jesus regained the authority for
