us by being the perfect sacrifice of His Father; defeating sin for all and for all times. Yeshua said, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19 NKJV).

Being the crown of God’s creation, man was mentioned first of all the faces of these living creatures. Man holds this place of authority as these glorious beings not only looked like man but had the hands of man under their wings. The features of these living creatures were dominated by the number four. Four is the symbolic number of completion and restoration of God’s creative works, thereby culminating with man’s redemption and these beings are a living witness of the coming completion of man who is the crowning glory of all the Lord’s creation (Genesis 1:26-27). Lastly we will discover that Abba Father is about to reveal to us the preparation for the consummation of the marriage of Yeshua Messiah and His Bride and for this reason Ezekiel 1:9 will be discussed in two parts as the mysteries of the Lord continues to be revealed to this generation.

Part A

Their wings were joined One to Another

One to another - the Hebrew word used here for “one” is Ishshah [802], it is a feminine noun interpreted woman, a wife, or a bride. Its basic meaning describes a female as opposed to a male Ish [376]. In Genesis 2:23-24 we read: And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman [Ishshah], because she was taken out of man [Ish]. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife [Ishshah]: and they shall be one flesh. “Ishshah” is translated “woman” or “wife,” a concept first described in the book of Genesis. This was the first marriage, the pure bride, the virgin bride, before Adam and Eve sinned. This is a picture of the future bride of Yeshua
