Part B
They turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
The word “every one” used in the second part of Ezekiel 1:9 means something quite different. To reiterate verse 9a; “there wings were joined one to another; the Hebrew word for “one,” is Ishshah, meaning woman, wife, or bride. In the second portion of verse 9, “one” is used a second time, “They went every one straight forward,” the Hebrew word used here is “Ish,” [376]. Ish refers to the husband, as Ishshah [802] refers to the wife. Ezekiel 1:9 is therefore revealing a betrothal between a man and a woman. Betrothal speaks of engagement for marriage. God designed these beings to tell the whole world a story that He is preparing a bride for His Son. “Their wings were joined one to another,” is a picture of betrothal. These things were prophesied by Hosea in chapter 2:19-23 which states: And I will betroth thee unto Me forever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; and the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. And I will sow her unto Me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which are not My people, Thou art My people; and they shall say, Thou art my GOD. Israel is the inheritance of Abba Father (Joel 3:1-2; Isaiah 19:25; Psalm 78:71; Jeremiah 12:14). The LORD God speaks not only unto Israel, but to all Gentile Believers in Yeshua Jesus.
