act of worship to raise the voice up towards heaven, to lift up the eyes and hands in reverence and the soul in holy adoration to GOD Most High, which is a true reflection of Psalm 24. Not only do we lift our heads, but our spirit, soul and body is in total rapturous worship unto Abba Father. It is therefore said that we are “lifted up” and our entire being is soaked in worship in the presence of God.
Ezekiel was shown through the actions of these living creatures the final stages of man’s completion in Yeshua. This is a picture of man breaking free from all the cares of the earth in spite of many distractions, difficulties, heartache and pain, that are likely to keep him earth bound and look unto Yeshua, the Author and Finisher of his faith. He soars in the realm of the spirit and his rocket booster is his worship; lifting him higher and higher in praise until the gravity of earth and all its cares can’t hold him any longer. He now soars on this worship, into the very presence of Almighty God, this is what Nasa is all about; this is what “to be lifted up” means.
Ezekiel 1:20-21 states: Whithersoever the Spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. Here we see a picture of pure devotion, and that is to say, their actions were not forced or bound by time restrictions. They were sensitive to Holy Spirit, therefore they moved in harmony with Him. This is a picture of the continued growth and maturation of man in Yeshua Jesus, being sustained by his Helper: Holy Spirit.
