Creating hollowing tools from other tools

Оглавление

When you turn smaller forms, you’ll find you already have the materials to create small hollowing tools in your workshop: screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and nails. I’ve been using screwdrivers and Allen wrenches to cut the interiors of my smaller hollow forms since the late-1970s. They’re accessible, inexpensive, and efficient, and most turners already have them. I can bend them with a propane torch, shape the tips as I wish, and make handles in shapes to fit my needs.
