Allen wrenches

Оглавление

Allen wrenches, like screwdrivers, aren’t the hardest steel in the bin, but they do hold an edge remarkably well. After they’re shaped on the grinder, I use a diamond file to maintain the edge. I cut the tip end back to about a third of its original length unless I need the full length to reach a specific area in a small hollow form. I then use a shop torch to heat and bend the tip to the required shape. It is important to keep these tools sharp, or they’ll simply rattle against the wood.
