Plane it to fit.

Run the two lengths of feet through the

planer. Remove stock in small increments

until the stock fits snugly in the dadoes on

the underside of the cutting board.

Cut out the feet.

To create the feet, use your tablesaw to

rip two strips of walnut to 1" wide.

Rout out for the feet.

Draw in the dado for the feet about 2" in

from the ends of the board. Then position

a straightedge so that when the router

base is butted against it, the bit cuts in the

desired location. Then rout a ¼" deep dado

on each side parallel to the edges.
