MATERIALS
›
5 pieces of hard maple
¾ x ¾ x 15-in.
›
2 pieces of walnut
1¾ x 1 x 15-in.
The walnut stripes not only contrast nicely with the maple, but also
present a refined way of adding feet. Because the design has an
Eastern feel, I refer to this design as a sushi board—and it does a
heroic job of serving it up—but it also works great as a cheese plate
or any time small cutting or serving tasks arise.
Small, light, and elegant with a subtle Eastern flair
