Kids of Trans

Оглавление

People with one or more transgender or gender nonconforming parent. Can be abbreviated as “KOT.” Another term used is “People with Trans Parents” or “PTPs.”

These definitions were compiled using the GLAAD Media Reference Guide, Julia Serano’s Whipping Girl and “Julia’s trans, gender, sexuality, and activism glossary!” on her website PFLAG’s National Glossary of Terms, and the National Center for Transgender Equality’s reference guides. All of these texts include additional helpful tips on understanding and etiquette within the larger community. See the References and Resource Guide at the end of this book for details on these and additional texts.
