This is a simple recipe for green smoothie and this is very effective when it comes to helping you lose weight because it contains the healthiest green leafy veggies as well as some extra ingredients like the flax seeds that have the ability to boost your heart health through their omega 3 fatty acids. The taste of this green smoothie recipe is also not that bad because this recipe involves a mixture of fruits to help cover up that leafy taste.
Ingredients:
1 chopped apple, ripe
½c orange juice, fresh and cold
12 ice cubes
2 ripe bananas, medium
2c kale leaves, chopped and free from their tough stems
1/2c water, cold
1T flaxseeds, ground
Procedure:
-Start by placing the bananas, kale and the apples into the blender.
-Then, pour in water and the orange juice.
-Next, add the ice cubes and then sprinkle in the flaxseed.
-Pulse these ingredients first then start blending or processing them until they are pureed and blended well already.
-If there are bulks and lumps on the sides of the blender, scrape them slowly and continue blending.
-Finally, when the mixture is smooth already, pour it on a glass and serve.
