4.1.2. Organogenesis

Оглавление

Mathews and Rangan (1981) induced organogenic callus on medium supplemented with NAA and coconut water, from which shoot bud primordia differentiated after subculture on semi-medium containing coconut water and casein hydrolysate. A similar medium was used by Ko et al. (2006) for regenerating transformed plants from callus. Wakasa (1989) grew nodular bodies on medium supplemented with 10.7 μM NAA and 8.9 μM or higher of BA and found that shoots differentiated on medium containing the same plant growth regulators or only BA, but when BA was omitted only roots were produced. Altman and Ziv (1997) and Teng (1997) regenerated shoots from nodular cultures within 2 weeks of supplementing the medium with 0.5–2.7 μM NAA and 0–4.4 μM BA, with production of plantlets at 6-week intervals.

Sripaoraya et al. (2003) utilized excised leaves from micropropagated plants as explants for shoot organogenesis on semi-medium containing 2.3 μM 2,4-D and 8.9 μM BA, while medium containing 12.4 μM picloram resulted in plantlet regeneration via somatic embryogenesis.
