Turning up the quality of the connection you have with your spouse will also make your relationship a lot more fun. The closer you are to a person, the more enjoyable it is to be with them. You will get a lot more out of your relationship when you have a strong connection.

A quality connection also results in creating a lot more positive things about your relationship than negatives. When you think about your relationship you feel satisfied and thankful for the wonderful person that you are connected to. A wife could say to herself, “Yes, my husband has faults and isn’t perfect, but I love and appreciate who he is; and I am thankful for the strong connection I have built with him.”
