I honestly do not know. I was not a party to the final purchase agreement. My best guess is about $50 million. But that was not the amount paid to TSR’s shareholders. That was the total price to finance the purchase, which included paying off TSR’s debts to get it out of the hands of an imminent bankruptcy filing. Had it gone into bankruptcy, there’s no telling what could have emerged, who would own what rights, and if D&D could have ever been published again – it was a very close-run thing.

I would guess that Lorraine, who owned most of TSR, got a few million dollars in the deal after all her debts and obligations were retired.
