betrothed unto God as the transliteration for “wall” means “to join” or “a wall of protection.” Isaiah 49:14-16 states: “But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me” (NKJV).

The next Hebrew word used in conjunction with the word “wall” is Bayith [1004]; it means a house, but can also be defined as a mansion, a temple, a palace or a dwelling place. Yeshua Jesus declares in John 14:2-3: “In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” This was no ordinary wall or house, but the unfolding of the temple of man. Taking these findings into consideration, this construction is spiritual in nature and of epic proportion because this mansion or house is not being built for just a friend but for a bride! The LORD is telling us that not only is He in a covenant relationship with Israel as a betrothed bride, but that He is their wall of protection against all enemies. The joy of the Gentiles is the fact that they, too, are included as His honored guests.

Yeshua Jesus began the measuring of the building with the reed and its length was given as six cubits long by the cubit and a hand breadth. Man was created on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26-31), and the measurement of the reed was six cubits, which is the measurement of man. Man is assigned the number six which is one greater than five and also one less than seven. Seven is the all-encompassing perfect number of the LORD and therefore points towards His rest from a spiritual standpoint. Man will one day in the reign of Yeshua Jesus, become perfected both morally and spiritually and find a resting place in his Kingman Redeemer and this belief will be revealed in the building of this fourth and final spiritual temple.

Man is represented as being six cubits long by the cubit and a hand breadth; “by” indicates that something is been multiplied. The breadth or width; speaks of a measurement extending from one side to the other and symbolically represents the revelation of the fullness of man in Yeshua as He measures the width of the
