temple; 1 Corinthians 3:11-17, applying the NASB states: “For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus, Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.” This fourth temple is the total embodiment of man in Yeshua Jesus. The Holy Spirit is feverishly working to prepare a sanctified and regenerated man who is both morally and spiritually holy, and He has already begun this work in us. The temple is about to be measured and all four sides will complete a square, which speaks of perfect unity: the ultimate desire of the Father will be accomplished and Yeshua’s prayer asking Abba Father to unite us unto Himself will finally be answered (John 17).

Verses 6-8

“Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad. And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed. He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.”

The role of numbers in Scripture is very important but can easily be misunderstood. Many of these numbers unlock valuable biblical truths that the Lord wants to reveal to us. The mystery in the construction of this fourth temple will be demystified. In these verses, the first and most important fact to be noted is Yeshua entering by the eastern gate; this is very significant because it speaks of the uniqueness of this entrance as it relates to Yeshua Jesus, which proves that it was not a messenger angel who took the prophet Ezekiel on this virtual tour but Yeshua HaMashiach Himself.
