This measurement of twenty-five cubits from door to door is a picture of the super abounding and all-encompassing grace of GOD towards mankind. God looks upon man whom He created from the dust of the earth and submerges him into His grace that was made available by Yeshua’s sacrifice. Yeshua laid down His life for this very reason so that He could take it again, therefore presenting us to the Father as not guilty (see John 10:14-18), because He poured out His soul for the soul of all mankind (Isaiah 53:12). The spirit of man is one hundred percent owned by God, but the battle rages for the soul: the faculties of man’s thoughts, emotion and power to choose.

Verse 14

“He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate.”

Yeshua takes a break from measuring and for the first time since He took the prophet on this tour to view the reconstruction of the new man as a temple, Ezekiel now observes Him making something different. Isaiah said: “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. “Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert“(43:18-19). Yeshua now makes posts of sixty cubits (one score equals 20 cubits). Notice Ezekiel did not document how many posts were made because the focus was not about the number of posts but its measurement which is a picture of the new man in Yeshua Jesus being upright as a pillar in the temple of GOD.

In Revelation chapter 3:7-12 the church in Philadelphia is said to be of little strength yet obeyed Yeshua Jesus and did not deny His name. He told them how much He loved them because of their obedience to endure without wavering. Revelation 3:12 states: “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem, which commeth down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name.” This is just what Yeshua is doing here; the posts or pillars are those Believers whom Yeshua has endorsed as being worthy to be the support
