The Hb average and levels of Hb at initiation of dialysis were significantly correlated with LVMI at initiation of dialysis and were identified as independent associated factors for LVMI in multivariate regression analysis. In a comparison of LVMI between baseline and initiation of dialysis, lower LVMI at initiation of dialysis, and improved LVMI during the observation period were detected in the group with Hb >10.4 g/dL (G3). A comparison of LVMI at initiation of dialysis among the three groups is shown in Figure 2. G3 (>10.4 g/dL) was significantly lower than that of the other groups.
