CKD (Stages 1–5) Longitudinal Study

Оглавление

The rates of change of SBP, urinary protein/creatinine ratio, and phosphorus were significantly correlated with that of LVMI, and the rate of change of Hb was inversely correlated with that of LVMI. The rates of change of SBP, urinary protein/creatinine ratio, and Hb were identified as independent risk factors for the rate of change of LVMI in multivariate regression analysis.

Fig. 2. Comparison of left ventricular mass index (LVMI) at initiation of dialysis among average of hemoglobin (Hb) levels for the observation period. Patients were divided into tertile groups based on average Hb during the observation period.

Fig. 3. a Adjusted dialysis-free survival curves with or without left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 1–3 patients. b Adjusted dialysis-free survival curves with different hemoglobin (Hb) levels in CKD stage 1–3 patients subdivided according to an Hb of <11.9 or >12.0 g/dL.

Fig. 4. a Serial changes in left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. b Comparison of left ventricular mass index (LVMI) among CKD stages. * p < 0.001, stage 1, 2 vs. 4, 5; #p < 0.0001, stage 3, 4 vs. 5.
